Gordon State College, USG Celebrate SPIRIT of USG

Gordon State College is participating, along with the University System of Georgia, in celebrating SPIRIT of USG and creating a more ethical culture.

"SPIRIT of USG" promotes Stewardship, Prevention, Integrity, Responsibility, Inspiration and Trust.

"Gordon State College works every day to promote the SPIRIT of creating a more ethical culture across campus," said Walter Green, internal audit director for Gordon State College. "We are all winners with an ethical culture."

Green performs financial, operation and compliance audits and works with other key personnel to ensure that all employees are good stewards and proper practices are carried out.

During the week of Nov. 16-21, which is also International Fraud Prevention Week, information on fraud prevention and ethical behavior will be shared with students, faculty and staff across campus and via social media. Additional information on creating and maintaining an ethical culture will be shared throughout the academic year.
