Gordon State College to Graduate 351 May 9

Gordon State College will confer 351 diplomas to graduates during Spring Commencement Friday, May 9 at 8:30 a.m. on Lambdin Green.

Shelley Clark Nickel former Gordon Interim President and current Associate Vice Chancellor for Planning and Implementation for the Board of Regents, University System of Georgia will deliver the convocation address.

Bagpiper Michael Grest will lead the procession of graduates and faculty - a long-held tradition - to their seats at the center of Lambdin Green.

Immediately after graduation a Bell and Book ceremony will be held in the Fine Arts Auditorium for graduates of the Early Childhood Education program. In Alumni Memorial Hall, a pinning ceremony will be held for graduates of the nursing program.
