Megan Davidson Named Vice President of Finance and Administration for Gordon State College

Megan M. Davidson has been named Vice President of Finance and Administration for Gordon State College.
As Vice President of Finance and Administration, Davidson will be responsible for directing Gordon’s finance and administrative operations, serve as the chief business officer, and be a part of the President’s Executive Leadership Team. Davidson will supervise, guide and provide oversight to operational units including fiscal affairs, budget, public safety, facilities, information technology, auxiliary services, and purchasing.
She will join the Gordon State College team on March 1.
“Megan is a seasoned administrator who will bring experience and leadership skills to the finance and administration division,” said GSC President Kirk A. Nooks.
Davidson is currently the Assistant Vice President of Budget and Finance/Controller at Clayton State University.
She has also served as Controller/Director of Budget Operations and Auxiliary Enterprises at Georgia Highlands College College as well as Bursar.
Prior to employment within the University System, Davidson served as an International Tax Accountant with Georgia-Pacific, LLC.
Davidson holds a bachelor’s of science degree in finance with a concentration in accounting from Berry College and a master’s in accounting from Kennesaw State University.
She currently serves as a member of the Clayton State University Planning and Budget Advisory Committee, the Clayton State University Cabinet, Extended Cabinet and Administrative Council.
