Tutorial 1: How to stop malware and viruses

Before we can do anything we must first end the processes that belong to (Security Tool) [ex: of malware or virus] so that it does not interfere with the cleaning procedure. To do this, download if possible or use the CD provided to you by Information Technology with rkill.exe on it.

If you see a message saying the rkill is infected disregard the notice. Do not reboot your computer after running rkill as the malware programs will start again.

Tutorial 2: Installing and Running Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Software

Download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free version
Click on "Run" to begin the install of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.
Continue by following along with the steps in the setup wizard and accept the license agreement.
Click Finish after the installation has completed.
Malwarebytes will now run updates.
When the program opens following the update, choose Perform quick scan and click on "Scan" as shown in the screenshot below.
Allow the software scan some time to complete. If it finds any infections on your PC be sure they are selected and remove them.

Tutorial 3: Installing Microsoft Security Essentials

When MSE has finished downloading choose to run it.
You may have to right-click the MSE.exe and Choose the Run as Administrator command.
Click Yes when prompted by user account control.
Accept the license agreement.
Select Validate to let MSE validate that your copy of Windows is genuine.
When MSE has finished installing itself, leave Scan my computer... checked and then click Finish.
MSE will download virus and spyware definitions and then perform a quick scan for viruses and spyware. Make sure you are connected to the internet for the software to be able download the updates.
