Estimated Expenses

There are a number of additional expenses (beyond tuition) for nursing students that you need to be aware of. Please keep in mind that these are estimated amounts and may be adjusted as needed. This not meant to be a comprehensive list and should only be used as a point of reference.

APPROXIMATE additional expenses (beyond tuition) for Nursing Students include, but are not limited to, the following:

FIRST YEAR NURSING STUDENTS AMOUNT
Background Check and Drug Screen $78.50
CPR Certification $50.00
Initial Physical Exam (and vaccinations, TB testing, etc.) $100.00
Uniforms, Lab Coat, Shoes, Stethoscope, Scissors $365.00
Books and Laboratory Supplies $1,150.00
Travel to and from Clinical Site Varies
SHIP: Health Insurance (If student does not have private policy) $585.00 per semester

NRSF Fees:

Course Books, Nurse Pack
Malpractice Insurance
ATI Testing Services
Student Nursing Organization Membership

$425.00 per semester
SECOND YEAR NURSING STUDENTS AMOUNT
Annual Physical Exam (and TB testing update) $100.00
Book and Laboratory Supplies $375.00
Travel to and from clinical site Varies
SHIP: Health Insurance (if student does not have private policy) $585.00 per semester

2nd Semester - Graduating Nursing Students  
NCLEX exam
Application to Education Testing Service

Graduation (Pictures, Cap, Gown, Pin) $275.00

Any required fees charged on your Gordon student account must be paid in the business office by their published due date in order to hold your class schedule. In addition, there are Financial Aid policies that often affect nursing students. Please refer to the following links for more information.
