Health Information Management
The Associate of Science degree with a pathway to a baccaluareate degree in Health Information Management prepares students to enter the world of healthcare as an entry level health informatics or medical records professional in hospitals, clinics, healthcare information technology companies, and physician's offices. The degree also allows you to transition into the Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management program at Gordon State College. The B.S. degree allows one to be hired as a Health Information Manager supervising and administering medical record departments. An associated degree with a pathway to a baccaluareate in Health Information Management will prepare the student for transfer or entry into the health care arena.
