Campus Living Programming

The L.A.N.D.E.R.S programming model is designed specifically to provide opportunities for residents to get involved with a variety of programs and events.  The L.A.N.D.E.R.S program focuses on the following areas:

  • L – Leisure/Lifestyle (Social)
  • A – Active (Wellness/Nutrition)
  • N – Newsflash (Recent News and Events)
  • D – Diversity and Cultural
  • E – Environment (Sustainability/Economic)
  • R – Relationships (Interpersonal and Intrapersonal)
  • S – Service/Supportive (Volunteer/Service Oriented)

Living Learning Connections

The Gordon Commons will hosts Living Learning Connections for students interested in areas ranging from Honors to intramurals/recreational activities. Students who participate in an LLC often have higher GPAs, more positive campus experiences and are more likely to graduate. Potential benefits include getting to know professors and classmates better‚ greater access to academic resources‚ and specialized programs directly in your residence hall. There are a number of events scheduled for each LLC. Amenities in the Commons feature Mini-Recreation rooms (with television, lounge furniture, card tables, and gaming stations) where residents can hang out with friends and build community. All students are encouraged to come and participate.
