Using the Touchnet Marketplace application, Gordon State College is able to provide online stores for departments, clubs, donations and other college organizations. Online shoppers can use one shopping cart and single checkout from multiple stores, while all their transactions are fed straight to Banner which eliminates the handling of money for the store owner. Processing is PA-DSS compliant and reports are viewable online and on demand.
These online stores provide the paying of products using a credit card and in limited instances a webcheck option may be available. A processing fee, minimum of $3 or 2.75% of the cost whichever is greater, must be added to the product costs to cover the fees incurred for processing the credit card transaction.
All online stores will be subject to the rules and regulations as governed by Gordon State College Policy, the University System of Georgia Board of Regents Policy and Business Procedures, U. S. Federal Regulations and Guidelines and the State of Georgia Code of Regulations. The creation of a store and its products are at the discretion of the Director of Business Services and Controller of Gordon State College.
Store Managers are responsible for all products and fulfillment of those products made available in the online store. If the Store Manager elects to accept cash, it is the Store Manager’s responsibility to complete a Deposit Report and submit the cash and report to the Business Office. The Business Office will not accept cash payment for store transactions from the customer.

Once the forms have been completed online and submitted, the Business Office will contact the store manager regarding the development of the store.
Viewing the Online Store:
Stores will be viewed on the GSC Marketplace Mall found in the Login Station. Additional links can be made from your department or organization webpage.
